If thou art unable to do even this, then taking refuge in Me, abandon the fruit of all action, being self-controlled.
But, if in this / Thy faint heart fails, bring Me thy failure! find / Refuge in Me! let fruits of labour go, / Renouncing hope for Me, with lowliest heart
If you are unable to do even this, then resort to devotion to me, and, with self-restraint, abandon all fruit of action.
If even this thou art unable to do, then resorting to devotion in me, (and) subduing thy soul, abandon the fruit of all actions.
