Neither by the Vedas, nor by austerity, nor by gifts, nor by sacrifice, can I be seen as thou hast seen Me.
Yet not by Vedas, nor from sacrifice, Nor penance, nor gift-giving, nor with prayer Shall any so behold, as thou hast seen!
Not by study of the Vedas, not by austerity, not by alms, not by sacrifice, can I be seen in this form as you have seen me.
Not by the Vedas, not by austerities, not by gifts, and not by sacrifice, can I be seen in this form by a man as thou hast seen Me.
